To make a large Marshmallow Chest, place two of them next to each other.
Usage[ | ]
Marshmallow Chests can be used to store items. Marshmallow Chests will face towards the player when placed. To place one, right-click on the surface of a solid block with a Marshmallow Chest in hand. If an opaque block or Ocelot is placed on top of a Marshmallow Chest, the player will not be able to open it. A chest can be renamed using an Anvil, which can be helpful to sort chests and the contents within.
Marshmallow Chests are not moved by Pistons and liquids will flow around them without displacing them. Lava may create fire adjacent to Marshmallow Chests as if they were actually flammable but they will never catch fire. A large Marshmallow Chest is created by placing two of them adjacent to each other, however, large Marshmallow Chests cannot be created directly beside each other except above or below each other.
Container[ | ]
A single Marshmallow Chest can store up to 27 stacks of items or blocks and can hold from 0 to 1728 blocks. Large Marshmallow Chests have 54 storage slots and open as a single Marshmallow Chest with six rows of slots. A large Marshmallow Chest can hold from 0 to 3456 blocks. The top three rows in the interface correspond to the eastern or northern chest block and the bottom three to the southern or western chest block.
Destruction of a Marshmallow Chest will drop all of its contents where the chest was destroyed. If one half of a large Marshmallow Chest is destroyed, the corresponding items from the destroyed Marshmallow Chest block will be dropped and the remaining Marshmallow Chest block will continue to function as a small Marshmallow Chest. The items in a large Marshmallow Chest are organized so that the bottom half of the inventory is concentrated into the South or East side of a large Marshmallow Chest, depending on how a Marshmallow Chest is oriented.
